Dekh Tamasha Dekh is a political and social satire based on a true story.
With the tagline of 'A Belly Full of Politics', the movie is a spoof on the Indian political scenario of present times in search of the religious identity of a poor man who unfortunately got crushed to death under a huge hoarding of a politician that is being played by Satish Kaushik.
What follows next is a mysteriously funny and yet horrifying battle of two religious groups trying to claim the man's body as their own. Filled with fundamental representation, the movie assures the viewers to provide very funny and yet somehow upsetting presentation too.
Dekh Tamasha Dekh promises a no-holds barred look at communal disharmony. It appears to be brutal, realistic and the humor seems to arise out of the sheer rigidity of the characters.
The film explores an Incredible India that is impossible to understand, where bizarre is very normal and chaos is a cause for celebration. Where religion is funnier than the best comedy show, and politics is scarier than the worst horror movie.
Directed by Feroz Abbas Khan, and produced by Sunil Lulla & Feroz Abbas Khan, the film 'Dekh Tamasha Dekh' is presently slated to release in theatres on 11th April 2014.
